Luna Lumen Film Festival is an online, IMDb-official event founded on one idea: feedback should come from people who actually work in the category they're judging.
We don't give what some call "constructive criticism" — we give constructive consideration. Feedback typically arrives within one week of submitting, and filmmakers may edit their film after submission, so entering early to gather notes before a final cut is genuinely useful here.
We've carved out a set of niche categories and paired each with a director who specializes in it, so the notes you get back reflect real, targeted industry experience.
New for 2026: every category winner receives our exclusive Luna Laurel Award. Winning films are also screened on our OTT platform, and we network through IMDb and AFM to bring winners real industry exposure. All winners get free access to our workshops for one year.
Founder and Festival Director of Luna Lumen Film Festival, overseeing every category alongside the jury. She also personally directs Best Hybrid, the category she created — an avant-garde creator known for exploring AI/CGI and emerging technique in film editing.
An internationally multi-awarded film composer, orchestrator, and sound designer. His feedback on scoring is targeted, vital industry information for anyone submitting to this category.
Holds a master's degree in animation. His work has been selected in over 300 festivals and won more than 125 awards globally.
A lifelong lover of film who built the Cunningham Film Archive out of that passion. His deep knowledge of classic film work, plus his own award-winning short "The Castle of Baron Finch," made him the natural fit to direct Best Nostalgia — a category created after his winning entry with LLFF in 2025 brought him aboard. He's also an Army veteran.
